A typical workday

Sarom wakes up at 5 am to take care of Li-Li and to bottle-feed her. Then, she walks two minutes to go to the fields. She waters the cabbages or plants new ones. Then, she goes back home around the middle of the morning while the weather is very hot. She prepares the lunch, eats with her husband and takes care of Li-Li. During the middle of the afternoon, when it is cooler, she goes back to the fields, harvests cabbages and sorts them for the buyer who comes around 5 pm. When her workday is finished, she goes back home, cooks dinner and goes to bed at 8 pm, at the same time as her grand-daughter.
