Martha Cecilia’s cooking

With the products she cultivates, she prepares a delicious quinoa soup or horchata (sweet drink made from cereals). At home, she is the one who mainly cooks. Her grandmother taught her how to cook because her mother was absent. Her mother worked on the coast with her father and only came home one or two days per month. Martha Cecilia remained with his brothers in the village. She likes preparing colada morada (drink made with black corn flour and fruit) which is eaten with tortillas.

The products that she does not cultivate, she buys them in the supermarket in Riobamba.
